Christie fan Antonie Griebl visited the site of the Sopot music festival in Poland recently, and shared these pics with us.

A visit to Sopot

SOPOT was the site of the Polish festival that Christie played at in 1970, and in doing so became the first Western band to perform behind the Iron Curtain.
   The Sopot festival is still held annually, and thanks to Christie's breakthrough, now hosts well-known acts from all over the world, past and present.
   Interestingly, the Sopot site still retains the unusual striped covering today that it did back in the 70s.
